FIFA 22: FUT Champions Play-Offs & Finals

FIFA 22 FUT Champions Finals (FUT Weekend League) has started on October 8th, 2021. FUT Champions mode is one of three competitive modes in FIFA Ultimate Team, besides Squad Battles and Division Rivals which has received a huge upgrade this year. EA Sports has made it easier to play and reduced the time it takes to compete in the game’s tournament.
So basically, the win-based system has been replaced with a points-based system which allows players to progress even if they don't win.
We're here to guide you through the whole process including the qualification needs, rewards, etc.

How to get qualified for FUT Champions

To qualify for FUT champions, players need to earn Champions Qualification Points (CQP) by playing Division Rivals. About 1,500 points will do the trick for them. This is the key to entering the Play-Offs followed up by a ladder board where players can move up and down based on their ranks.
It all starts in Division 10 which needs to be worked through as well as all other divisions throughout the season. Players need to get as many wins as they can, winning multiple matches continuously is going to help them climb the board faster.
Players will play 20 matches each weekend. Losing the matches will have a negative effect and make your rank drop. After reaching a certain point, you can prevent your rank from dropping by passing some checkpoints. And after getting the required number of CQP, you get to move on to the next stage.

Points per match

Based on your performance you get Champions Qualification Points for each match:
  • Winning matches: 4 Points
  • Losing matches: 1 Point

Champions Play-Offs

The first stage, players need to compete in is the Champion Play-Offs which takes about 6 weeks. Each stage needs a certain number of points which can be checked through, FUT> Play> FUT  Champions menu.
Players get to play a settled number of matches, earn points in Champions Ranks and rewards. When their runs ended, they will receive rewards based on the number of points they earned.

Champions Finals

The next stage is the Champions Final which takes place on weekends. Only if players earn enough points in the Play-Offs stage and unlock the Finals Qualification Token can enter this stage.

So when you managed to score lots of wins and reach this point, you will have the option to participate in the Finals in exchange for the Qualification Token.
Note that there's a scheduled limited time to enter the final stage. So check the in-game schedule if you don't want to miss it.

FUT Champions Rewards

Entering the Play-Offs and playing the matches will give you the chance to win lots of rewards, as well as advance to the Finals by getting the Token. You will also earn rewards in Finals. The additional rewards will be calculated based on your performance and will be offered to you when you finish the Finals.
If you have any leftover matches to win, your rewards will be given at the end of the competition when your final performance displays.
The rewards are Packs, FUT Coins, FUT Champion Player Picks, and FUT Heroes which will be given to the qualified Champion Players.
Note that with the help of good formations and custom tactics you'll get closer to the victory at this fun event!
