FIFA 22: Career Mode scouting tips

(Source: EA Sports)

FIFA 22 players have new tools at their control to develop their Career Mode squad, including more ways to promote manager and player ratings.

So, if you want to develop an elite record without spending many FIFA coins, you’ll need to learn how to scout like a professional and use two classic features: the Youth Academy and Global Transfer Network. Continue reading to see how to use these features and create a great team.

Career Mode Youth Academy

When you play in FIFA 22, based on your club, you will be indicated a scout with a different experience and judgment rating. There are, of course, three scouts which can indicate to the two other ones at any point.
Make sure you're actively using your scouts and sending them on the more expensive if you can afford it, and don’t stop during the season.
Try to find players who have more than 90 potential and discard the ones with less than 80 potential unless you think they’ll make an impact in your squad. Although by checking their value on a regular basis, you may notice some of the players have a high overall rating even if their potential isn’t the best.
So, you might want to pick them up and put them to immediate use.

Career Mode Global Transfer Network

The Global Transfer Network also gets a role in the scouting process. This system allows you to search in specific regions and find new talents in other teams using your own scouts. Depending on your scout level, the results will vary.
For example, higher levels in scout can do the searching process faster with detailed reports.
The GTN system can be a little strange at first. So, to make things easier, focus on a particular region or scout at a time and give them detailed instructions. If you're after a specific player, for instance, a young winger with pace, you should let your scout know.
