FIFA 21: Mastering the game and making more coins

Do you care about making progress in FIFA 21? Of course you do. We all do.

You'd want to get the most out of the game just to save up some time making progress. You want to choose the best formation for your team, or just the right players to choose for your squad. You may not be very successful at it whether you're new to FIFA or you're just trying FIFA 21 from previous versions.

So if you want to learn how to improve your gameplay and learn new techniques, keep reading this blog. We will also teach how to make more FUT coins.

   Improving skills in FIFA 21

Formations

We reviewed different forms of creating a team in previous blogs. Some may prefer sticking with their old-fashion formation since FIFA 20 but the new formations proved to be more effective and easy to follow. So try to learn them which will help you with your defense, midfield, and attack skills. It's recommended that you try several new formations experimentally until you feel comfortable with one or two that you may pick as your main formation against opponents.

Mechanics

Things are different in FIFA 21 and if you like to be on the top of divisions, you got to learn Agile Dribbling and Creative Runs.
Agile Dribbling is a new skill in FIFA 21. EA says it's inspired by some of the best dribblers in the world and is meant to give you the ability to quickly move the ball from side to side to get away from enemy defenders and create space and opportunities.

Agile Dribbling: to perform this skill, hold R1/RB while moving the Left Stick, and you will notice the dribbler moving the ball with rapid and precise touches. Every player in the game can use Agile Dribble, however, "the higher a player's Dribbling, Agility, Reactions, and Ball Control attributes, the quicker, more precise, and better they will be at keeping the ball at their feet".

Creative Runs: Press L1/RB which will simply give you control over the runs of your player and other players in your team. While holding L1, press the right stick on your controller when you see a space and the player will move in that given direction to use the space for an attack.

Skill Moves

Learning new skill moves gives you the advantage to win more games compared to your opponents. We explained some of these new and effective skill moves in the previous blog, which you can read here. These skill moves are similar to the ones in FIFA 20, so if you know how to do them, it's pretty easy for you to learn the new ones in FIFA 21.

Shooting Properly

There are several ways of shooting the ball and before you just press the "Circle Button" and shoot, you want to give it some thoughts. Because the way you shoot may or may not determine your chance of winning in FIFA 21.

Classic shooting: Press the "Circle Button" and the more you hold the button, the more powerful you'll shoot the ball towards the goal.
Finesse shootingHold R1 + Circle (Or RB + B) will make a finesse shot, which means it will shoot the ball at the most faraway corner of the goal with a curve. These shots are great for scoring.
Cheap Shooting: Hold L1 + Circle (Or LB + B). A cheap shot happens when it's one-on-one and the goalie leaves the goal to catch the ball. Just shoot the ball above the keeper and the ball bounces back to the goal slowly which needs lots of practice.
Drilled shooting: Press L1 + R1 + Circle, and the ball will be kept low by the player, but with lots of power towards the goal.
