EA Sports has surprisingly launched the FIFA 21 PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S free upgrade a day before the next-gen version goes on sale on 4th December. In this article, we will have a look at the advances and technologies we are going to see in FIFA 21 on those consoles.
To get the next-gen version, log into your PS5 or Xbox Series X or S with the platform account associated with your last-gen copy of FIFA 21, pop over to your game library, and you should see the icon for the free PS5 upgrade. After buying this, you will be able to download the next-gen version.
As already announced, Ultimate Team and Volta progress carry over from last-gen to next-gen, but nothing else does. The standalone next-gen edition goes on sale on 4th December as announced.
Imagine how motivated FIFA players are to play the game eagerly and make more FIFA coins. So we mentioned some of the features and changes below:
Advanced Visuals
Realistic visual effects and details of players and stadiums, with the lightning, shadows, and live fans sitting in stadiums, are the obvious improvements in next-gen FIFA 21.
LiveLight Rendering technology imprints a super realistic lightning effect and atmosphere in PS5 and Xbox Series X while playing FIFA 21.
For now, the most detailed players in FIFA 21 are Kylian Mbappé and Trent Alexander-Arnold, which you can see in the pictures.
FIFA 21 RPMT
this slogan stands for Real Player Motion Technology which presents in Next Generation FIFA 21. This feature brings extra realism into the game with extended player interaction moves.
Some significant improvements such as attackers holding the ball, catching the ball in the wings, etc are expected to be seen in the FIFA 21 next-gen.
Player Movements
The advanced hardware of consoles makes the players' movements which are mostly related to their moves off-ball, so realistic and life-like.
Hundreds of new animated combinations that are responsive and Multi-Touch that emphasize the players' contextual touches have been added to the FIFA 21 next-gen.
For example, you will see the difference when players clean the sweat from their face, shout to their teammates for sending a ball, or catching their breath after running at the end of the match.
